yay!! Tell your mom and sister that it will be a good time. I'll stay out of the way! The air mattress I have is actually pretty comfortable, I was told it's better than the couch. Also, I promise to behave myself and not curse or talk about dirty things. ha ha!
I told mom she should call and find out how hard it would be to get back into the country without the card...wouldn't her passport (and of course, her driver's license) have her Canadian address on it?
Driving, maybe. Flying, I'm not sure. She could look into it, but I don't know if it'd be too risky.
Maybe a combination of a passport, driver's license, the old card, and a confirmation letter/email stating that the new one had been processed and was being sent?

I sent the old card in with the application for the new one, and no, a passport does not have your address in it--at least not "officially" (you might write it in).
