you should google using the term 'daily upper limit' to see what the max is for biotin. From what I can tell there isn't one. upper limits are different than rdi's, in that upper limits are what can be toxic, rdi's are pretty much what should be enough to keep you in decent health.
I know this post is way old but I wanted to let you know I take 6000% daily percentage of Biotin and there are no weird side effects. It is water soluble and will come out of you daily, so don't worry! and I don't think Biotin is what you need to prevent hair loss.
