APPLE CIDER VINEGAR

When doing a apple cider vinegar rinse do you put conditioner in your hair afterward? I tried looking it up but I had no luck. Do ya'll shampoo your hair first and then use the vinegar rinse? What are the steps that work best?

That's how I use it. :) No conditioner afterwards.

It doesn't really matter. I usually do conditioner last because other wise your hair will smell.

most people find that their hair doesn't smell once it is dry.

Such is not the case in my personal experiance. I've always found myself to be very fragrant after.

hm. do you use it full strength or? or maybe there's a difference between kinds of vinegar? always curious to know why results might vary with things, especially something seemingly as simple as a vinegar rinse.

this is what i do:
shampoo & condition normally
rinse
do the vingar rinse and just leave it in because i don't mind the smell of white distilled vinegar and it completely goes away once my hair is dry. however i think apple cider vinegar smells horrible and if i used that i'd have to rinse my hair again or throw up. haha
then the next day that i wash my hair i use a deep conditioner

I use a no-poo method, so I do a baking soda rinse for my scalp, then I do an apple cider vinegar rinse (I rinse it out with cold water and the smell goes away instantly). I always condition afterwards because it's just habit for me. I find that it makes my hair softer and smell all pretty :)

This is the website I used when I made my ACV rinse. I'm not trying to convince you to go no poo but it has other stuff about that on it. Feel free to ignore that stuff if it's not your thing! :)
