concealer recs

I currently use Tarte The Eraser, which I love, but I *HATE* the packaging because so much product ends up getting wasted.

So once I have used that up I'm looking into something different.

I'm looking into a concealer for blemishes and one for dark circles.  Preferably drug store recs, please.  Maybelline Mineral Power and Super Stay 24Hr concealers ( Read more... )

I use Maybelline Mineral Power concealer for both undereye and blemishes. I hated the Super Stay concealer though.

I feel like I've tried everything when it comes to drug store. The Mineral power brightens but doesn't conceal enough for the under eye area. The Super Stay 24hr one is just awful. I wore it after a really rough night of not sleeping. My co-worker asked if everything was all right 'cause she could tell! The Dream Mousse is decent if you don't have a dry under eye area (it caked on me). Over all I like Hard Candy's Undercover Agent. It's a concealer & [primer

My favorite HE one so far is Benefit Erase Paste. It corrects the under eye circle darkness, blends well, doesn't cake/chalk, and just looks very natural.

so does the Mineral Power one illuminate? I was planning on using that for blemishes too...so would that mean I have little dots of brightness all over my face?

I really want to try the Dream Mousse, but I just can't seem to find it anywhere :( I'll have to look into the Hard Candy one, too. Do you know if it is oil-free?

And have you tried Benefit Boi-ing? I liked that as an undereye concealer...but of course I'm always looking for something better (or cheaper!). Just wondering if you know how the two compare?

The Mineral Power is meant as a concealer but I bought the lightest color so it just illuminates for me. There's no sparkles or shininess to it FYI. I'm not sure if that explanation helped or not.

Have you tried looking at Dollar stores for the Dream Mousse? I found some of the eyeshadows there a while back.

I have not tried the Boi-ing. The Erase Paste is one of the very few Benefit products I've tried.

For Hard Candy Undercover Agent I found oils in
-The concealer: Safflower seed oil
-The brightener: Linseed oil (flaxseed)

If you would like I could post the entire list of ingredients for you too :)

I really liked superstay, but they don't make it in a shade that works for me. I recently started using True Match and love it so far.

I used to be hardcore into Benefit's Boi-ing, and lately, I've been in love with Hard Candy's Glamoflage. It's $6 at Walmart. It covers just as well, but it's in a tube instead of a compact. It also comes with a cute little pencil for the blemishes. I went with it totally by accident, was almost out of Boi-ing, happened to be at Walmart and saw it.
