“Cas?” Dean asks cautiously, checking his watch and wondering if a home invader broke in, killed Castiel in his sleep, and decided to make baked goods in celebration. “Is that you?

Omg lol! Cause that's what any home invader/homicidal maniac would do! Dean is so awesome. :)

I must admit, there was a 24-7 Dean&Cas show running in my head for a while when I was writing this. And I also must confess that I still love (and miss sometimes) this series--I came to be so fond of these versions of them :)

Ahhhh! So cute! This, and the other little outtake, are just so sweet! I could be happy with bits like this forever, despite the bittersweet knowledge of how it all ends. I think part of my mind is stubbornly trapped in Limbo with the boys, eternally enjoying their fluff. <3

I think a part of mine is as well!

And for me, the bittersweetness of how it all ends doesn't negate how wonderful they had it for a while--in fact, it heightens it. One of the most important things that Dean learns by the end of the story (and through his time alone) is how much he too for granted, and how good times are so fleeting--and that we should all be grateful for what we have, when we have it.
