Canon and Backstory
Canon Facts (and canonmates just in case I ever want to play them/anyone else wants to play them):
- Satake is from the point in King Abaddon just after the Apollyon are summoned.
- Satake's version of Raidou is named Toshio Murakami, and he saved both Denpachi and Kiyoshi, though the latter did not receive the cuff links and thus never returned to the Daidouji estate. Toshio is looking to be Neutral-aligned, prefers spear-type swords, and is a bit more arrogant than most portrayals of Raidou. He is most often seen accompanied by [Fiend] Alice, who is joined by [Pyro] Pyro Jack in battle. He does not seem to have any interest in women or men whatsoever, and in fact gets flustered (followed by clamming up) when anyone makes sexual advances on him. (Or anything, fighting Binbou-gami was hell for him!)
- Satake's version of Narumi sees Raidou as a little brother, and always refers to him with familiarity. He and Gouto are the only ones that can get away with messing with Raidou's hat. He seems to prefer wearing his tan suit over white, even if butter shows up better on tan...
- Satake's version of Tae is relentless in almost all aspects. Satake admires this, but wouldn't chase after her out of respect for her career - after all, if something started between them and it was discovered...well...the result would be one guilt-ridden yakuza boss and one pissed-off ex-reporter. Plus, she's a little bit on the young side for him (though he has to keep reminding himself of that, possibly the only case where, rather than mistaking someone in their early twenties for someone in their late teens, he mistakes someone in their early twenties for someone in their mid-twenties to early thirties! She acts more mature than she is.) As for Tae, herself (where did all that meta rambling come from?), she's friendly with Raidou. She seems to waver between amused acceptance and irritation at Narumi's usual antics, more often the former than the latter.
Backstory:
Canon: He's originally from the Kansai region. Yep. That's all we've got for canon. Fanbook says nothing either. So. Making up practically EVERYTHING!
Not-canon: He grew up in Nara, the older middle child of four, with a younger brother and sister, and an older sister he was closest with. (From youngest to oldest: Hotaru, Hiro, Kenzou, Chihiro)
His childhood up until about eight years of age isn't exactly full of fond memories, due to a nasty infection and thus repeated trips to the doctor who was at fault for the infection in the first place (impatient with children). Even to this day, he dislikes doctors and hospitals and will only go to them as a last resort.
