If you're not a cat-lover, you might not find this story very interesting. But if you are, it's worth reading - just have a kleenex ready.

I belong to an online group of cat lovers, and this is the story of a rescue kitty one of our members tried to save. ( It's a touching story that has a sad ending. )

Poor Four and caretaker. At least Four spent some time knowing he was loved and he didn't have the hard death he would have had on the streets.

Four's story is at the same time heart-warming and tragic. Along with everyone else on RPCA I've followed Four's progress closely. It was so wonderful to hear of this poor stray who had had such a rough life, stumbling into a setting where he could be happy and cared for and loved.

Hearing of his fracture, FIV, and demise was heart-breaking. I can only imagine the grief that C must have experienced. If you read this, C, bless you for everything you did for Four. I still cry when I think of him being gone, but he knew comfort and warmth and love and plenty for his final months.
