serenity: spoiler-free.

I was saying that due to budget constraints, the production wasn't perfect, so the atmosphere wasn't perfect. But the storyline killed me in the end, I generally like storylines that kill me, and I loved this one.

Hey, for a low-budget, it wasn't bad; space opera is an expensive genre to get into, I'm sure. It's just that I am used to flicks sponsored by billion dollar corporations that know their star-studded cast and award-winning producer are gonna be a sure hit.

Though Serenity was paid for by Universal, no small firm, everyone knew from the start that major success is a long shot. For one, its creator is still closely associated with past work that's received extremely polarized reviews. Secondly, Hell, the show itself got cancelled (never mind it was prbly the broadcasting company's fault; they aired it at weird times, showed the episodes completely out of order, pulled it very early on--). They couldn't be sure about the profits.

D: oh my god, the storyline;;;

I still need to watch it. Wow I really want to see it... in the trailer I slowed it down frame by frame... River hurts Simon! I was so heartbroken when I saw it. The storyline must be something good for that to get explained... dude... My heart totally smashed itself into a million pieces.
