Your End-of-the-Semester Update

Well, I don't know if anyone reads this thing anymore. It seems like so much in the virtual world has shifted to Facebook that all other forms of social networking/blogging/etc have started a slow decay. Just for the record, I still read my friend's page every day, sometimes twice. I rarely comment or post because I'm almost always on my iPhone ( Read more... )

I still read my friends page multiple times a day - I'm not on Facebook, because I waste enough time on the Internet as it is. Luckily, Connie-Lynne is on Facebook, so I am not yet completely cut off from my social circle.

I'm not on Facebook. In my opinion, FB makes it too easy to catch tasty fish, shoot ducks in a row, and bob for apples in a barrel without leaving an air conditioned room outside of Langley, VA. How's that for paranoia? :)

This next year is feeling very promising for me, writing-wise. I have a book project and a screenplay project, both of which require a bunch of research and travel. I'm hoping at least a couple of the 5 grants I'm applying for (4 already submitted) comes through so I can take time off and do it. Way excited.
