Here's my review of Valve's Steam.

Speed: Very Good (Usually over 300 KB/s)
Client: Proprietary Steam Client running on Windows

The only thing they need is more games.

Also, if you change the skin, you have to restart steam to apply the new one.

There are some community features as well, but I don't care about those.

I didn't know you could back up your stuff on CD or DVD, that's cool. I haven't used steam in a while. I wonder what kinds of games are on it.
