Today one of the other regular girls at Spin, but one I don't know by name, introduced herself and said she just had to tell me how good I looked and insisted I've lost weight recently.. she said she's been meaning to tell me for some time. Wow! Yeah, unfortunately I haven't lost any weight... but it was awesome to get complimented like that

That's a nice compliment. I always make a point of telling people if I think they look nice or something flattering cause it can really make a person's day

absolutely, I agree. In the same way, I have been meaning to tell my brother how good he looks cuz he's finally lost alot of weight after putting alot on when he was with his last gf. I always mean to, but then I always get distracted. Today was a friendly reminder how great it feels to hear you look good, whether it be from someone close to you or a reasonable stranger! Note to self: compliment brother.

Other than that, it definitely works to make someone's day. yup! Plenty enough to make an LJ post about hehe
