okay so ... I am a little in the dark. Can you briefly explain the thoughts behind moving back? I get that it is family/work related... is someone in your family ill? Do you have a family business? What is up?

Family business, yep. Hard to turn down to "be your own boss" sorta thing... working for family is much better than working for some chump like I do now. And it's great experience.
