Current state of health = ridiculous. Went to bed about 10am on Tuesday. Got woken up by a text message at 11ish when I had literally just dropped off to sleep, replied to it, fell asleep again, got woken up by the sequel at 11.30ish. Slept until 2.45pm when I had a phone call from College to deal with. That finished about 3.10pm, phoned Richard to ( Read more... )

sorry about waking you up with text message (though i did wait till it was about 11am cos my doctors appiintment was stupid early).

wishing you had useful answers but blood tests not showing anything nasty is prolly a good thing. Am i rmebering right that random thryod realted readings are/were a side efect of one if your meds or is it some whole other system of endocrine-confusion?

Stupid-early would have actually been fine since I'd have still been awake from the night before ;) Rubbish sleep patterns make prediction hard!

Random thyroid readings are a side-effect of one of my meds, but this is too categorically average to be due to that. (The higher readings might have been - this almost certainly isn't).

yes i was thinking the earlier higher levels might have been artefacts rather than this one. It seems like it's less usual for TSH to go down rather than up

I'm glad you're feeling properly awake after that sleep. If your body needed it, it needed it.

I had the funky thyroid results as well. It was after that (and all the other tests that came back normal) that my GP diagnosed me with ME. Which currently has me stuck in bed because I don't have the strength to support my head or sit up. I get to see the specialist in a couple of weeks.
