Pets Tugging at your Heart
Why is it that pets, dogs in particular (yes, I am a dog person), tug at our heart-stings? My roommate's dog has captured my heart. I walk him, talk to him, play with him, bug him.......and am loving it..... he likes me too... most of the time... LOL

A very humorous story happened to me a few weeks ago. I went for breakfast at this little cafe close to my home. I have been curious about it, but it is kind of "scary" from the outside. It used to be an IHOP, one of the "A-frame" ones... but once inside, found it quite clean and had a wonderful breakfast.

Avalanche - Preseason Game 1
Yes, I know it is preseason, and all that....but, for the first game of the preseason, the AVS won against the Phoenix Coyotes.....and the two shining stars of the AVS were Peter Budaj in goal and Center Paul Stastney, with 2 goals, including the game winner with 47 seconds left in OT.
The AVS have picked right up where they left off just 5 months -
