This is a singularly wonderful story, I must say. I like this alien culture. I've seen a few attempts at a story like this, but yours is one of the best, and I'm really enjoying it. Poor Spock though, this really isn't his type of place at all, and Jim's little lie certainly didn't help any. I do hope they get a chance to enjoy this tropical paradise while they're there, however, and get to a point where they really can enjoy some sexings.

I love crack!fics especially where everyone still manages to maintain IC!! It's very fun to read and i found myself enjoying poor!Spock a little bit too muchXD Looking forward to the next chapter!

That line had me squealing with laughter. I love the speech patterns in this fic with the universal translator being so literal. And of course I love Spock's barely muted horror at the situation he has found himself in. I can just see Spock nerve-pinching Jim to shut him up - fantastic. A great beginning, and I can't wait for more.

I don't normally read WIPs but for a bookmarking project, I began to skim to get the overall idea and found myself totally drawn in. You do Spock's voice very well, which I know is quite a challenge. I'm enjoying the characterisations of all the Enterprise crew, and the ocean paradise, its people, their speech patterns and their culture are, of course, wonderful!

I'm looking forward to the next part - how is Jim going to bring Spock around?

Thank you so much! I was hoping the Spock voice would be convincing enough to still do comedy, so I really appreciate that. I'm glad you read it, and I think I have a good chunk of it done already, so the next update will be soonish. And there's a ton of placating on Jim's part. :D Thank you!
