I think she did mention an artbook somewhere in v7 or 8... this? CDJapan lists it as out of print though, and it's going for like $100 on ebay (compared to "only" ¥6,279 on Amazon before shipping...).
Oh! This volume is the one that finally had my favourite (gag) scene, on p340. Ha-ha-ha!♥
I'd never noticed the author's messages at the back for v5-6 repeated v3-4. That part is added after I letter, so I don't see it till I get the printed volume. (however, I must confess that whenever I see the last page of story 21 in the second omnibus, I want to hide away in shame: there's a big ol' chunk of artwork in one of the bubbles that I forgot to retouch. I think I was just so relieved when I finished cleaning the area in the connected bubble that I totally forgot, and apparently the editor didn't catch it either. It'll be the shame of my career... Arrrrggg!!)
oh, I was wondering about Phosphor. Thanks for that. Must be an awesome art book to have such high price. "last page of story 21" You mean the 2 bubbles on Reiga's chest. How could you? Just kidding. I wouldn't have noticed if you didn't point them out. They are a bit hard to read, but other than that I didn't feel that they are any hindrance from my enjoying the book or anything. I really like the author's sense of humor and her art, so beautiful. "... at the back for v5-6 repeated v3-4. That part is added after I letter" I thought you would have noticed if you did that part, too. It's funny when I read 2nd omnibus and the author's message, I thought, "but Luka is in there lots of time :)"
Hahaha, I'm glad it's not just me giggling over the characters rather than getting wrapped up in their drama. I'd never noticed Shuusei's double-row of buttons though! Hmmmm...
PDA was something I remember hearing a lot in highschool (like in the rule, "No PDA in the halls/classrooms" and students yelling "PDA!!!" whenever they encountered it).
I was wondering about Tooko saying in the extra story in omnibus 3 regarding Yuki and Luka. I'm assuming that Yuki is her best friend and Luka is the one she loves?
Yes, that's how I'd interpret the line too. Honestly though, I can't really tell from the story that Tooko has any feelings for Luka, or especially why she would. So I have a hard time actually believing it. There was that one scene... oh, towards the beginning of ch20, where Yuki guesses that she likes Luka and she's, like, shocked that he knew. I was shocked that he knew too because I sure didn't-it seemed rather tacked on and out-of-nowhere. But maybe that's not fair to Tooko-it isn't her fault the story mostly ignores the girls in favour of the boys.
I kind of suspected since she was so offended to find out that Luka had given her and other people just alias Zess. eta (I tend to read too much into romance interest :)) It's cute she got all flustered when she got the text from Luka :) Maybe the author just decided to stir up trouble by her having interest in Luka. Tsukumo is so funny with his sister complex :) He's such a nice kid. I had expected him to be jealous about Luka, but he didn't. Like he said his love for Tooko is different and normal people wouldn't understand.
