[Black Jack had only meant to fall asleep for an hour or so, though when he woke up and saw Hatori next to him, he was sure he wasn't quite concious yet]

[Hatori stretched his feet and opened his eyes slowly, the voice confirmed his suspicions. Squeezing Black Jack he pressed his forehead between Black Jack's shoulder blades.]

[Wait...no, that is his voice. This isn't a dream. Now suddenly more alert, Black Jack sits up, and looks round at Hatori with wide eyes]

I'm just as surprised as you are. I returned home for all of three hours. In those three hours I was convinced that everything here for the past 7 months or so had been a dream.

[He's strangely nonchalant about it all, but then again he gave up trying to actively find reason in the Author's madness a long time ago.]
