[12th Calculation] Getting started. (In Person)

[Gene had in his hands a large file full of papers and profiles from people that he has been keeping an eye on or those he could keep up with. Mostly generalized information from what he could gather on the network, the need for a school was definitely at hand. At the very least, a Cultural Education course once a week was certainly something that ( Read more... )

[The Doctor has been spending a good deal of time with Rose and keeping an eye on others- aside from the last two weeks while he was hunting down his sonic screw driver. Now that it was tucked safely in his pocket he was all for a distraction from the TARDIS refusing to work.]

Hmm...

[He's looking over the floor plan and nodding at it-always a good sign. Before turning back to the other.]

I suppose now we'll need to talk about courses to be added and subtracted from a normal school curriculum.

Right so saying that we're going to have the standard courses, Math, Science and Language, I was thinking that for those that were interested an advanced course in linguistics. This is just in case the Author decides to get the bright idea and cause a language barrier just to watch us squirm.

I didn't think of that- well done. Usually- The TARDIS translates everything for me anyway- but in case of a language barrier- it would be a very good idea to have a class- which means we will need to know all the languages everyone here speaks.

Another one I think we should add- Physical Education. It's important to get out in the sun on occasion and studies show the more sunlight a person gets, the happier they generally are.

Good idea. I think it would do everyone some good to get some fresh air once a day. Nothing fancy, maybe some volleyball or baseball would definitely help pass the time. Maybe some gardening too. It's starting to look a little shabby.

Oh, what about a chores list? I've noticed that people have been taking care of their own rooms but only a few have been handling things outside of that. I think Aoko should be in charge of that.

[Gokudera was pretty much wandering around trying to find ways to entertain himself, when he saw someone doing something in the parlor. He casually strides in, slouched over with his hands in his pockets and a cigarette in his mouth.

Ah... it was that odd.... nice guy... setting something up....]

What's that?

[Not that it was any of his business. Honestly he was half expecting to get shooed away for that very reason]

[Gene looks up from his notes and smiles.]

Oh, this is for a school that we're trying to set up. You're welcome to give any input. We could use a student's feedback for this.

S-school?! Why the hell would you want to start up that crap?!

[Gene.... did you really expect a kid to embrace a school system with open arms?]

We don't need one! That's my input!

[Gene chuckles and nods.]

Okay, that makes sense. But still, there should be one in place to educate everyone and not just school age people. You see, it's something that would keep us active and less bored...of course the subjects taught are going to do that anyway but it would be good to know who's who in the manor without resorting to guessing, right?
