One clarification from yesterday....

I know I've been very ranty this week due to my heart being ripped out, but I should clarify that one of my ships did get married this season, and that was Castle&Beckett on Castle. I would be sorely remiss not to mention them as their wedding was so lovely and long anticipated and very worth it

See, I really don't know as yet, because I need to see the rest of the season. But it will center around the fact that the Salvatores would still be attempting to rip each other's throats out if not for her, and how you know SHE'S THE CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE AND THE VAMPIRE DIARIES IS NOTHING WITHOUT HER.

But I'm open to suggestions ;-)

Have I mentioned how much I love your little mood gifs of delena. The hungry one is my fave. They seem so casual together...pigging out on fries and burgers, getting drunk and drooling in front of one another. I mean in Elena's words, they were messy and complicated...but real. I guess that's what I love about their relationship the most that they remind me of a couple kids wrestling on the playground together trying to get the other person to eat dirt. lol. It's like that RPF you wrote for Ian and Nina where she pinched him pretty hard to get to that ring.

I love that you love dialogue too! That extends to my preferences for men too. I like "talkers", not guys who talk more than listen but you know the kind that you can tell really mean what they say and you don't have to get frustrated trying to figure out what's going on in their heads. Damon's like that...I mean he's not that tall but dark and handsome and kind of a chatterbox :) I love language in literature, too. I think words matter the way actions do. I love your dialogue between characters in your fic. You shouldn't feel insecure if you ever consider writing original fic. I mean if I'm being honest these days i feel like even in most love stories the two main characters are just shouting wordy declarations at each other rather than talking to one another.

I don't think I ever thought that much about dialogue before writing Damon. But his lines were always so clever and Ian's delivery is always so particular, it was important to find the right rhythm with writing him. Once I got the hang of it, it was an addiction because getting Damon dialogue right was always so pleasing to me first as a reader and then as a writer when others enjoyed it. So fun. #thegoodolddays

Candi if its worth anything meeting you and getting to know your writing is probably one of the best things to come out of this crazy show. I kept hoping TVDs writers would ask you for tips on their new season. even when the show started getting stale your fics made me feel like I was falling in love with these characters all over again... Also,am I spelling your name right?

Oh, what a sweet thing to say--I daresay many fic writers seem to love the character of their favorite show far more than their creators often do. It's a sad reality I've seen time and time again.

I spell my name Candy, but it doesn't really matter! It's all good!
