I just spent an hour watching YouTube videos and scrolling through tumblr looking at gifs of a couple (Juliette/Avery) from a show (Nashville) that I don't even watch. Or rather, I watched the first season, found it all super melodramatic, and quit, but yet part of me shipped these two even though they were barely friends in the first season.

You know what else is weird? I have no Klaus/Rebekah feelings. For all of my other 'couples'...none. They obviously have done sex, and everything else under the sun at some point in their millennium together. They are as pretty close to 'canon' as a brother and sister ever would be.

Julie Plec said she grew up loving Flowers In the Attic and that basically they are her living out that fantasy. So yep, as canon as it's gonna get.

Amnesia fic is tons of fun -- I did a little bit of that in Polish once. It was a TVD fic in which Alaric has amnesia after Klaus possession in s2.

Also: Torchwood is a goldmine of amnesia fic, apparently. It's probably because they literally have an amnesia pill in canon, so amnesia fic is just begging to happen. I read some great stuff there.

I may still do it--I've decided to write a big bang this summer in honor of Elena Gilbert, but I have no idea what angle I'm gonna take on it. So it's always a possibility.

An amnesia pill is a great plot device! What fun for actors, too, I'd guess.

LOL, an accident causing amnesia is way better than PURPOSEFUL ERASING OF MEMORIES. If I didn't love Elena so much, I wouldn't even give her a pass on that one, much less Alaric. Which, in the dictionary under Shit List, there is a picture of him, you know. ;-)
