last night i made gluten free girl's minestrone soup. it was AMAZING. i used arugula instead of spinach, & we added the pesto & a handful of pine nuts to each bowl instead of to the whole pot. a few slivers of parmagiano regiano (it really is worth the price) on top, and wow. seriously, the best soup i've ever made, i think. & we have tons of ( Read more... )

seriously. she is sooooooooooo inspiring, even if you arent gluten free. this is the first recipe ive tried of hers & im definitely going to try more. the best soup ever, and its really ridiculously cheap to make. we have at least 6 bowls left, and matthew & i both ate huge portions last night. even noah liked the veggies~

im still a little wonky but MUCH better thank yoU! and luckily i dont think any of my lovelies caught it. so thats WONDERFUL.

the soup is teh best thing ever.

There has to be a tiny Bob Marley tshirt, you'd think? The next time I go to the reggae swapmeet I'll look for one! Well, it's not really the reggae swapmeet, but that's what I call it because it's essentially incense, bob marley posters/shirts/stickers, and things like "plant lights" *ahem*. ;) We are incense and oils fanatics so we stop by every now and then.

Elias likes extremely minimal techno like Aphex Twin and Gas. Seriously, 3 minutes of any Gas cd and we're ALL soothed. ha

ohhh i almost ordered an amber one this morning! & seriously, her necklaces are Tough. ive had noah pulling on them & jonah pulling on them All The Time & not a break yet. plus, i really dig the way they look. im not a necklacey person, usually, but i like these.

jonah really seems to get into the charlie brown christms album! maybe its because thats all i play these days.
