That's just tacky. And... he calls himself a preacher? Gives a bad name to preachers everywhere.

And who is he to judge, anyway?

He gives a bad name to humans everywhere. The poor kid was murdered; isn't that bad enough?

Apparently he thinks his word is the final word. I hope that the town riots against him, but I don't think Casper's overly gay friendly.

Well, that, too.

No, but who wants THAT in their town square?

That's just sick. I say if they put that up, I'm finding several friends to help me rip it down.

I know. I'll demand my friends make a trip up there to do the same. Or protest, at least.

Also, hi! How have you been?

That is horrible and disgusting. I just...don't even know what to say to this. Except that I kind of hate people like this for giving Christians such a horrible reputation as homophobic people who project hatred on everyone who doesn't agree with us. And I feel terrible for Matthew's family.

I know! Fun fact, though: during one of the pridefests in ... Seattle or something this year, there was a group of Christians with picket signs apologizing on behalf of all Christians/homophobes. There was even one that said, "I used to be a bible-thumping homophobe. I'm sorry." There was a picture of one of the people in the parade stopping to hug them.

I know! I found that on Tumblr, and I actually cried when I read the article. It was so beautiful, and I'm glad people had the courage and compassion to do that.
