Okay, who wants to complain and/or cry with me about tonight's Desperate Housewives?
I haven't seen tonight's Grey's Anatomy, so don't spoil me. I'm reviewing the next DH, so I'm already all GRRR.So tomorrow is* my dad's birthday, and I feel like I should do something but I don't know what. I'm feeling kinda meh at the moment, so I'm not sure if I

I have a list. Because this summer will be All About tv. I'm cool that way.
And ANTM? I'm mad I haven't seen this season yet.
And I'm sorry to hear about your dad:(

I haven't watched ANTM since the third cycle (I think). The eps we're getting are from the current cycle & I'm so out of the loop. Also, I miss that crazy bitch Janice. But as long as Miss Jay is on, I'll be happy.
Thanks :)

I know what you mean about the whole past tense thing. Even after 10 years, there are times when I think, "Gotta tell dad about this!"
(so I just tell him anyway...)

I was totally thinking of you while I watched it. Knowing that you've held all that heartache in all week...you are a rock! ;)
I am looking forward to seeing a music post in honor of your dad. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow. *hugs*

Aw, thanks. I'm hoping I can find that stuff to download. He DJ'ed early on & stuck with the format: mostly big band, Rat Pack, etc. Music that's rarely up on torrents ;)

As badtyler said, you'll still catch yourself thinking in the present tense sometimes. Nothing about the process is easy or simple.
I'll be thinking of you tomorrow - sending good thoughts your way : )

Well, Dad was an old-school DJ, which made car trips interesting. My sister & I quickly learned that Dad & news radio stations don't mix well ;)
It seems so weird, doesn't it? [I know you understand which 800 emotions "weird" covers :)] Not quite surreal, just... different.
Thanks, and I'll be sending pleasant thoughts to your gall bladder :)
OT: OMG, is it wrong that I laughed when Oliska got sliced in "Fault", or when Elliott yelled at her?

And yes, "weird" is as good a summation as any word for it all. It's different, and it won't ever not be different.
And if it's wrong to laugh when Oliska is sliced or yelled at, then I haven't been right in a long, long time!
I got so excited when Lou Diamond Whatever yelled at Oliska to stop talking, that I thought Elliot had said it. But just anyone saying it made me giddy.
Not sure if you're a member of TieTuck, but the next-season spoilers have Rob/Randy/Whoever in a complete tizzy. I love it!

Dude, I was so disappointed when Oliska walked away with what looked like a shaving accident. All the drama building up to that scene had me anticipating blood gurgling from her throat. (Wow, when did my dislike turn to hate?)
OMG, why didn't I know about that comm?! And OMG again, I hope Rob cries a river when that ep airs! Familiarity can breed contempt (coughOliskacough). Nice to see that she's no longer garnering all the sympathy ;)

Unless his telling Bellick is actually part of the plan? I'm still reserving judgement until tonight's ep, which looks freakin' awesome!

So many crazy things happen on that show that Tweener could've been a friend of L.J.'s that Michael recruited. I still don't like him, though I woulsn't wish T-Bag on him. OMG, Dr. Sarah's stare still gives me chills a week later.

Can't wait for the new episode in...6 minutes, whee!
