Summary: Real friends know who you really are, and like you anyway. Rachel overhears the others talking about her and is hurt by it.

I really adore Rachel and I love Puck/Rachel-friendship almost more than shipping them so thanks for writing nice!Puck sticking up fo her. =) That was really sweet.
I honestly don't think Kurt would be that mean though ...

I don't think he would be either, but I needed them to be hurtful for the story to go the way I wanted. Basically they were just venting and it got carried away. That does happen occationally, your just angry with someone and as a group it just grows and you don't really mean what your saying but your still saying it.

(I adore all the gleeks so I'm not writing it to be mean to them, I just didn't see Puck reacting so strongly unless they pushed the line a bit.)

No problem, I can understand being protective of the characters cause they are all great. But I don't want people thinking that this is the way I really see them, cause it's not. I just needed them to be mean. :P

I love Puck/Rachel friendship and the pairing. They just rock either way. Glad you feel the same way!

Brilliant, I've been feeling the same way about the characters actions in the show's canonical storyline, so it's great to see it take this twist with Puck and Rachel.

I've been noticing that the other glee members all seem to take a shot at Rachel's character every once in awhile and she never says anything about it. They seem to think it's okay, and it's not. So it started to annoy me a little bit. They've kept it pretty small, but it still bothers me. If any of my friends did that to me I'd call them on it.

I don't however think they are really trying to be mean about it, they just don't realize how hurtful they are being because they believe it's known facts about her and that pointing it out doesn't hurt because it's already been pointed out before.

As for them getting carried away, it's so possible. They don't have to even be meaning to be mean about it, they're just annoyed/angry and venting and being in a group makes it worse.

Tbh, I could totally see Kurt being kind of catty, particularly after last week; the one person the idea of whose cattiness shocks me is Brittany! SHE WOULD NEVER. Heheh... I mean... lovely fic! :)

I wanted to write this because I've seen them all kind of take small shots a Rachel and she never says anything. I don't think they would get this bad with it, but I needed them to so the fic would work right. Besides it's easy to get carried away if your mad and venting and part of a group. You really do say things you don't really mean, even if some of the things you say are really crappy to say.

As for Brittany, I don't think she would say anything either. I think I took it out, because it didn't fit in smoothy, but Brittney was just there because everyone else was. She might have laughed a little - and been a little confused about what's going on - but I don't believe she would say anything mean.

Kurt was pretty pissy to her face in Wheels so he is capable.

Glad to see others realize Rachel is often crapped on by other glee members.
