Madonna and me

I had a Madonna phase in the 80’s (didn’t everyone). It never went as far as bleaching my hair with napalm but I did spend actual money on that Sex book (you can pretend you don’t know me). Oh, but this makes me awfully nostalgic! My best friend when I was a teenager was THE biggest Madonna fan (bought *everything* she could get her hands on!), so I was very, very, very familiar with her back in the day. :)

It started with a review of Desperately Seeking Susan (a perfectly OK movie)

I saw that movie years later on TV and loved it. It ruined my fashion sense forever and gave me a bizarre fascination with stage magicians and 80s pop.

Have I mentioned I love your reviews? You always say what no one else says and make it so interesting. And that is pretty cool about giving it back to the black gay club dancers. I had no idea but it works!

Thank you, I'd forgotten but deepad mentioned it in a review of lum's 300 vid and I remembered. This was Kurt and Mercedes's episode for sure.
