Rewind, unwind

One day delay, but oh, what the heck. It's always interesting to read post-exam posts after I get my results anyway.

Will save my f-list the trouble of having to scroll down; mentions of toilets. Yes, _again_. )

Try capping it? Like disallowing the upload to be more than 0.1kbs speed limit or download speed limit more than 30.0kbs? :x

I rarely ever use torrents; never had problems with torrenting on my old laptop though. x____x Does limiting the download/upload speed help?

Yes it does for me. A LOT. @A@;; I used to cap Utorrent because its lags my internet browser before I swapped to another torrent program.

Try capping it, if it still goes haywire - try restarting the connection and if it still does lag your internet; personally I suggest to just swap to another torrent program. XD;; There's a lot out there.

Trying Bitcomet now; hopefully, the same problem won't happen again!

utorrent has an icon in the system tray.

Right click --> Download limit --> set.

Alternately, Options --> Preferences --> Bandwidth --> Set the value to "Global Download Rate Limiting"

Under Bandwidth there's 3 options:
- Global Upload Rate
- Global Download Rate
- Number of Connections

Sometimes it may be the upload rate, try limiting that as well. Or the number of connections. Or download when you're studying...I usually turn my downloads on before I go to bed...

Will try; the download while studying bit doesn't work, because my internet goes offline when it happens. >___> Still, will keep your advice in mind, thanks~!

Lotsa luck with utorrent - I like this program more than anything.
