So, Big Day Out and Auckland was pretty awesome. Muse rocked my small brain to all hell. Honestly, I think it was the best hour of live music I've ever heard. Ahhh, I LOVE Muse. And the Killers, though I'm sorta underwhelmed by the new album. But Muse, those guys are awesome, I would love to hear them live!

Yeah, the Killers new album is a little eh. I like bits of it, but overall it's not nearly as good as their first.

And if you ever get the chance to see Muse, you should totally go. They are awesome live.

Lee and Anders should just run off together now that they've done the manly bonding in battle thing. Yes.

I feel like I have oncoming meta about the destiny thing, and how even though I don't believe in that kind of thing at all and usually get annoyed with it on TV, it works for me in BSG. But those are still fuzzy thoughts.

I heard that Muse were good. I knew they would be. I also suspected that Hot Chip would put on a really good live show, and thus far all reports have been really positive. Did you happen to see them?

I didn't see Hot Chip, no. I don't know a lot about them and so gave them a miss. I should listen to more radio actually. I couldn't name a Lily Allen song to save my life. :p

For the longest time I kept getting the Killers confused with Maroon 5. Is that weird or what? Sorry, The Killers!

Festivals can be so hit or miss--either you're just sitting there feeling mosquitobitten and underwhelmed, or you have a totally awesome experience, and I'm so glad you had the latter.

Yeah, both years I've been to this festival I've enjoyed, but kinda in different ways. Last year there were quite a lot of bands that I enjoyed, and this year there was one band that blew my mind and some others I enjoyed.
