There is this guy named Jeff.

He is a friend of Mackenzie's, though he has hardly proven himself a friend. He has treated her in such a way that I am glad I have never met him, otherwise I would kill him.

One day, I let Mackenzie borrow my book, Kosmology. Jeff is at her house a lot (he has abusive parents, so he sometimes needs a place to stay
