It was still incredibly weird living with a Ramona that was apparently FROM THE FUTUUUUUUURE (URE... ure.. ure...) and seeing clones of his friends and enemies everywhere he went. Somehow, though, Scott was starting to get used to it all. Sure, the first few clones of himself had been a shock. He had even attempted to beat one of them up in an attempt to prove that it was a robot sent by Gideon or Dr. Robotnik or something like that. That had ended in a lot of crying and apologizing to himself, followed by conciliatory waffles and bacon. Now, though, seeing himself walking down the street was starting to elicit more waves, high-fives, and brofists than it did squeals of terror. Same with the copied faces of everyone else he saw wandering around. It was all starting to become kind of normal. ...Ish.
In any case, normal or not, he couldn't help but wonder if (quote-unquote) "his" Ramona was out there somewhere. As in whichever one had come from the same timeline as him. He was pretty sure that if she were here, she would still have the

What if he finally got his own apartment? Moved away? Forgot about her entirely? These and more ran through Ramona's mind as she walked down the way. She didn't even know how long she'd been gone. Had it been very long? The facts escaped her.
It wasn't until she heard the familiar voice that she stopped dead in her tracks. Was it that easy? She didn't turn, but she could tell Scott was trying to look at her. Whether she wanted him to see her like this right now remained to be seen.
But... he was talking to her so... normally. There wasn't any reason for her to hide herself from him... yes there was. But hearing him she realized she couldn't, and she looked over to him.
"...Yeah. It's me." She didn't smile, though. Or frown. In fact, her voice seemed rather worn out. She didn't answer the rest of his questions, though. Too much was buzzing in her head for that.
Scott blinked, not sure how to interpret Ramona's response - partly because half her face was still hidden by that hood, and half because that reaction hadn't been what he had been expecting. What was that? Tiredness? Depression? Whatever it was, it didn't sound like a state Scott wanted Ramona to be in.
"Hey, what's up? Something bugging you?" he asked, craning his neck just a bit more while he waited for an answer. Was that green in her hair? Aww, probably not "his" Ramona then. Still a Ramona, though, so it wasn't like he was just going to up and stop caring about whatever problem she was having right now.
...Unless she was an evil Mirror Ramona who wanted to kill him. That might put a damper on their relationship - juuuust a bit.
She couldn't possibly have heard him right. 'Something bugging her'...? Of course there was! But maybe he was just trying to console her. Just worried and not trying to sound too upset. He could just be upset at her. Yeah.
"You don't remember...?" she finally spoke, a bit softer than before. Then, she figured, there was really no need to hide herself any more. She slowly reached up and pulled her hood down, revealing her emerald-green hair in a much different style than she had it in before.
How he was acting right now struck her as weird, but she still had to do what she thought was right.
She had to apologize to him.
"I... disappeared. Maybe I just wanted to find myself, to have a reality check, but I felt I had to come back. Ugh, that sounds dumb, I know..." She sighed. "Scott, I was really messed up, and I'm sorry for leaving. I... I didn't want you to get messed up too

Why was he still here? Sure, he was glad he wasn't dead, and Envy seemed pretty glad about that too -- but it still didn't solve the fact that he remembered not existing, and yet -- here he was. In Toronto. Seriously, of all the places to get stuck in...
Todd wasn't exactly the kind of guy to always watch where he was going. No, he was the kind of guy that if he bumped into you, he'd make it out to be your fault for not getting out of the way soon enough.
And considering he had been wandering the streets, a little lost in thought to begin with, he was about to do just that, without taking real notice of who he strolled right into.
Ramona was definitely heading back home now. She had spoken to a different Scott (and that was the weirdest thing she's experienced. Possibly ever.) and learned that she was stuck here. And it was possible 'her' Scott wasn't even here.
Even so, she had gotten into a slightly better mood, even if she possibly shocked the living hell out of Scott by revealing what 'his' Ramona was going to do soon.
All these thoughts were knocked right out of her head as she literally slipped and fell on her bottom after getting smacked into.
Before she turned to see who it was, she retorted, "I was watching pretty well, thanks!" Then she saw him. "... Wait. Todd?"
Oh, great. This could mean the rest of her exes were here too.
((OOC: Just gonna wing it on what she did with Scott, since it's a DR. If anything becomes horribly skewed later I'm sure we can work it out, right? :3 For either party I mean.))
HE'S A ROCKSTAR, HE WILL RUN INTO PEOPLE AND BLAME THEM FOR NOT MOVING.whatethicsSeptember 3 2010, 05:19:52 UTC
Already trying to make his way past whoever he bumped into, he yelled back, "looks like you weren't --" Then faced the same situation of sudden recognition. "Ramona?"
...Well, she looked different. How was he supposed to know it was her? Plus with her hood on, she could have just been some random hipster chick, for all he knew.
Not that he made any move to help her up. He's not going to be that much of a gentleman to Scott's girlfriend. And don't think he didn't find out about her dating a girl after dating him. Not that it made him feel inadequate as a man for a while or anything.
WHAT A JERK. :PhairoftheweekSeptember 3 2010, 05:41:34 UTC
She removed her hood once again, and had a look on her face. "Yeah, it's me. What are you doing here?" And, hey, since Todd wasn't going to help her up, she got herself up. And dusted herself off.
