I have to say how helpful it's been to take a break from my fic before sitting down again to make the major revisions. The extended deadline gave me the opportunity to put this project on the back burner for a little bit, and I'm very glad I did, because coming back now without the fic being fresh in mind, I'm able to see the weak points a lot more clearly. I've been working two part-time jobs and looking for one full time to replace them with. So my actual writing time has been...low. And video games, CURSE YOU PS3!
I know where I want to go with my final draft. My REAL problem is that once I finished my rough draft, my brain said 'Oh, we must be done. Time to move on.' So maybe less cursing the video games and more cursing my own Magpie like tendency to be distracted and OH LOOK A SHINY NICKEL!

@schwarztkd - I felt the same way after I made my outline. My brain went "story's done, move on."
