I don't know about anyone else, but I'd love an extension on the final draft.

I'm hearing a lot of that, I may end up extending it. I'll do a new post if that's the case.

I'm gonna have to bow out. I'd been hoping to work things out with my computer, but it won't charge at all, so I can't access it, and I've lost all the work I did have done. :/

First, just checking that you got my draft + outline.

Second, thoughts on the due date: At this point, I can produce a finished draft by Oct 31, it will be about 36K words give or take a thousand or two. My current beta, however, is getting attacked by RL craziness and may not be able to finish reviewing it in time, I don't know for sure. I may end up requesting an extension, but it's hard to say at this point. However, if you decide to extend for everyone, hearts and love and awesomeness.

If you don't want to extend the deadline, another option I personally have is to submit part 1 of my story, because by itself it's got 18K and can definitely be finished and reviewed by then, and then I could finish part 2 at my leisure or maybe for the next big bang if there is one.

So those are my two Lincoln coins.

by 'finished' I mean written. It's whether it can be betaed completely by then that I'm not sure about.

So far that's what everyone is saying, we'll see how it goes but it is becoming more likely.
