because i grew up so close with my nuclear family, all my best friends under one roof and constantly aware of one another, i believed i could send messages that all my friends would intuitively sense by writing them with my finger on the ticklish belly of the child-friend i was babysitting.

i miss that long-ago time when i used to write here regularly... am thinking of picking it back up.

"it's been a while" feels like an understatement. i wonder if i can even get back into that headspace in which i used to be able to write all this blather.. since i was last here my internal censorship committee has gotten a lot stronger.
