These are the graphics and fanmix I made for my first claim for spn_j2_bigbang. Thanks to my #safespace friends for being awesome impromptu art betas and cheerleaders.

These are beautiful and fascinating. I especially love the first cover, the one where they're hiding behind the star and the lake with the purple tones. In fact, I was wondering how you made that one since it looks much more like a painting than the others.

Thanks, I'm happy your enjoyed them. The purple lake one is one of my favorites as well. That one is a manip as well.

Brief explanation of how I made it: first I made the manip, which I them turned into a pattern. I them put layers of canavss textures. On top of those I 'painted' the pattern back in. The color layer was set to soft light and duplicated five times, so you got the color and light coming through, without obscuring the textures below them.

I don't read SPN, but this is fantastic art and so much of it! A lot of effort went into this and it's all so beautiful!
