Friday: Started off with a bang, let me tell you. I woke up to Brandon telling me how it had rained so hard and had blown in the carport so badly that it had flooded our utility room and he had spent an hour sopping up the water with towels. Now, this wouldn't have been QUITE so bad if we still hadn't had time to move the washer and dryer and clean ( Read more... )

If you can't completely quit working, maybe you could work part-time? That's what I do (or, well, it's what I try to do...if everyone would just leave me alone about it!). Really, I love it!

Honestly, during the first years it's a matter of spending time with your kids and being there for all of the "cool" stuff, even potty training. But, later on (like now for me!), when kids are starting school and getting involved in everything, it's so nice to be able to volunteer at school and be able to be at "every game" or whatever. :)

I've actually thought about seeing if Jim would let me just work 3 days a week, maybe 10 hours each day? I think if I really tried, I could get all my work done in that amount of time (considering how much time I spend online, haha!).

May I say again how I love wood floors? It's so much easier to sweep that stuff up than to have it embedded in the carpet, creating a gold-mine for my allergies.

They are THE best thing EVER!... I had no idea. We have the Pergo/ fake wood but, I know what you are saying. I have allergies too... weird ones since I moved here... like to birds???

And, I just noticed that I'm logged on under mypic username.
