How about a bit of BA/F.

Just as the title says. B.A. looking out for Face.

Will leave the rest to the imagination of the writer.

Hi Panda, I love this idea and I'm definitely going to try to come up with something (I can never resist a BA/F prompt!) but in the meantime I came across a story I started but never finished, a sequel to my Mama B story with just BA, Face and Mama B. It touches on this idea, but it's H/F (though Hannibal is elsewhere) with a huge dollop of BA and Face friendship/brotherhood. Any good? I may post it over on Inspiration if not - might give me the kick I need to finish it off!

Oh yes please, a sequel to your Mama B story with a side helping of H/F even if Hannibal is only there in spirt.

Can totally see B.A. as the protective older brother.

Will look forward to both stories.

I'm totally with you - I love protective BA! I'll post up what I'd already written, then see if I can get back into the story. I made a load of notes by the look of things - one of the advantages of writing the old-fashioned way, with pen and paper!

Let me know if there's anything particular you'd like to see, since I changed your prompt x

Once or twice, just Scooter and Murdock have come to stay, and she has had to smile to think of Hannibal and Face off somewhere, enjoying what precious time they have together, away from their chosen lives, where they have to hide the love they feel for each other. The two men are only a little more demonstrative with their love than on their first visit, when she had spent the first few days trying to figure out the exact nature of their relationship. Now, seeing Face without Hannibal, she feels sorry for the young man, knowing just how much he must be missing the colonel ( ... )

With sleepy nods, her two boys climb to their feet and start moving towards the stairs. Scooter pulls her into a quick hug, dropping a kiss onto her cheek as he whispers, “Thanks, Mama.” She watches the way her son steps aside to let Face go first, dark eyes following the taller man’s every move. She sees again that protective side of him that is always just beneath the surface, sees the way Face nods in acknowledgement, offering her a smile of his own as they disappear to their rooms ( ... )

LB; I just discovered this and I love it! It makes me so curious what happened with Face and the others. Mama Baracus is clearly like she is in the series and its great that she calls all four men her boys! Wonderful, the way she cares for them all and loves them as a family.

Pottering around in her tiny garden, enjoying the last of the winter sun as it starts to set, she is grateful it isn’t raining yet, or even snowing, heaven forbid. There really isn’t much that needs doing out here, her plants mostly died back already, the weeding up to scratch, but this is always something she enjoys, a way to relax and unwind after her busy life, filled with work and volunteering and friends. This time, knowing her son would be visiting, she’s been able to take the week off work, though she knows Scooter will want to come along with her to the shelter she’s been spending a few evenings a week at as a volunteer. Maybe Face will want to come along too, while he’s here, though of course she won’t pressure him into anything ( ... )

Oh yeah Mama B is back and what a great start!

You have got to love her and her mothers intuition knowing without being told that something happened on that last mission. Love how the relation with Face has moved on and she knows just how far she can go with him.

But omg what happened on the mission and what happened to Face? And BA rushing to Face when he cries out in his sleep and the image of him rocking and holding him on his lap so protective. Plus Mama B just standing back and letting BA take care of Face.

So glad you changed my prompt really love your Mama B!

Phew, I'm so relieved you like this so far - feeling guilty for changing your prompt around! If no one else writes you a proper fill, I'll definitely owe you one (though I hope someone else takes it on, I love BA/F!).

Glad you still like Mama B and her mother's intuition - it's been nice writing her again. Next parts going up now x
