On the way to the doctors office today, I saw a Golden Eagle! It was just standing there in a patch of grass along the side of the road. Not a hawk, not a vulture, but a real, honest to goodness big-ass eagle! In town! It was huge! I wish I could've taken a picture.

Can someone help me punctuate this sentence? It's really bugging me and I don't want to wait to finish the whole story to get it fixed.

The overall effect screamed ‘beatnik!’ far more than ‘truck driver!’.

Microsoft word hates semicolons. I know it does.

Spent the last half-hour or so organizing my fiction folder, which was in desperate need of a make-over. I now have separate folders not only for finished and unfinished works, but original and fanfiction, in progress and on-hold work. Plus I scrunched all my abandoned fanfics into one word document.
