What's wrong with the map?

according to the map, the whole planet is basically made up of one Continent that is roughly only about 700X750 miles-- at its widest points.

I suppose planets COULD exist like that, but it's doubtful that such a formation would occur (in that small a formation, no less) without at LEAST a smattering of islands or something.

I could be wrong, since I haven't read all of the book. There could be more to it then that. But if so, they should have labeled the map by a name for the Continent instead of as the planet. *is being finicky(though hopefully that will help my own stuff later on, ne?

he's coming back tonight (ten minutes from now, judging by his call) He'll get off work tomorrow at his usual time, I'm sure, and will be home around 6:30 or so. And we have tickets to the midnight showing of X-men.
