Oh, those flying cyber-heads! I found myself imagining what a Cybermen-Kaylon shootout would be like. *g*

I loved the Master's grand entrance at the end of the episode. He's such a showoff, isn't he! I wonder if there is any connection between him and the Cybermen. Given his history, I wouldn't rule it out.

I'm trying to decide who I'd put my money on in a Cybermen-Kaylon shootout. Probably the Kaylons, but I'm really not sure. :)

And, yes, the Master is a giant drama queen, and he loves it! And he's teamed up with the Daleks often enough. Maybe it's time he spent a little more time with the Cybermen.

Missy tried to give the Doctor a Cyberman army and Simm!Master was there at the beginnings of the Mondassian Cybermen, so I'd definitely say that he has a history with them.

The Cybermen are part organic and I suspect that the Kaylons would find them all the more objectionable for that. It does raise the question though, of how the Cybermen manage to send their detached heads flying around shooting at people!

OK, yes, Simm definitely qualifies as "spending a little time with them." Considering that he hung out with them for years. Although I'm not sure if the Mondasian ones count as quite the same the later ones. :)

Yeah, the head thing makes a lot more sense for the Kaylons!

I really enjoyed that too. There's so much that needs to be resolved in next week's episode, though, that I wonder whether some of it might be left as a teaser for the next season.

I thought that the Brendan interludes were really well done. I too wondered if he might become the Lone Cyberman. Another possibility is that he could be the Timeless Child.

This series has been a real step up on the last. I suppose that the four leads and, most importantly, Chris Chibnall have all had time now to settle in.

Added later:

I just came across the following in a review: 'Even the cast credits released in advance now made sense: “Barack Stemis” had been listed as playing a character called “Fakout”. Rearrange the letters of Barack Stemis and you get “Master is back”.'

I've been really, really hoping for a good wrap-up of everything in the finale, but I'm increasingly wondering how they might have a hope of pulling that off, so it's seems entirely possible that you might be right about that.

I thought that the Brendan interludes were really well done.

Which is remarkable, really. They could easily have felt frustratingly out-of-place, as if they were stopping the narrative dead. But instead they totally worked.

This series has been a real step up on the last.

I've still found it kind of uneven, and there was at least one episode in here that I actively disliked. But overall I am so much happier with it!

“Barack Stemis” had been listed as playing a character called “Fakout”. Rearrange the letters of Barack Stemis and you get “Master is back”.'

OK, that is hilarious!

I can't quite take the floating, laser-zapping Cyber heads seriously. They look too silly.
Oh, good-not just me! I was really, really trying to take it seriously and failing.

I loved this episode. I can't wait until next week-but then I'll have to wait much longer, and I don't know how I'll stand it!

Definitely not just you, and I have no idea how it even makes sense! Although I could forgive that if it actually looked cool. Oh, well. If that's the episode's worst flaw -- and I think maybe it is! -- we're doing really, really well.

Here's hoping they do actually do wrap this story up in some kind of way that makes sense, and don't keep us waiting until whenever next season starts to see where it goes!

I am waiting for the next episode in the hope that it might be explained where Brendan fits in. Why did his dad and the cop appear to not have aged when Brendan had?

Those cyber drones were silly, bring back the cybermat!

As soon as I saw Gallifrey the master's entrance ceased to be a surprise.

I am also wondering how they are going to resolve problem of the cybermen.

Well, hopefully that will be explained. It would be a very strange thing to bring up and then not explain! :)
