Autism Article in Wired Magazine

Just an FYI post, there's an article in the new Wired that includes Amanda Baggs and Michelle Dawson. I'm not done reading the article, but so far it's very good for a change!

Yeah, I have a whole bunch of little stims too, but I didn't even realize what they were until I came across this community. None of them are really noticeable enough to cause social problems, fortunately.

I like how the article noted noted how the curibes basically control the research into autism because they control the money. I wish we could somehow get enough funds together in order to finance more objective research into autism.

Ahhh I finally opened my latest issue of Wired and read this article.

I looked up Baggs video... I couldn't listen to it, the computer generated voice bothered me so much! Thank goodness for the subtitles, heehee. I loved what she said, even for me it was informative and moving. :)
