Shoes and stuff.

Now, as you may have gathered, my daughter has high functioning autism. I have also been home schooling her and she wanders around bare foot or in flip flops or wellies, hating her feet constricted. Before all this, she had awkawrd feet, wide at the front and narrow at the heel. Now, after a year of loose hippy walking about they have spread ( Read more... )

And i thought I had a hard time to find good shoes that i like.
I once brought, or tried to but, a pair of red wellies. But I couldn't aford them when i was thirteen. I've now been inspired to buy them. And I'd even wear them when it hasn't been raining.
I'm kinda glade i got hand-me-downs now since i don't think i would be able to spend that much on school clothing. Now on DVD's I would glade spend that much.

Ooh red wellies sound gorgeous. there were some Hello Kitty onesin Sainsburys I was wanting for me - well, one of us can still fit into kids shoes! But I can't afford anything for me.

Well, I say that, I'm adding to my huge overdraft and going to Brighton for the weekend before the whole school thing starts next Wednesday. I can't believe how quickly 10 months of home schooling has gone.

When I was a kid, being the oldest, I didn't have hand me downs. No,my mum would buy all these old lady dresses and use the material to make my dresses. and hand knit jumpers for school, what with the home made bread and cakes and clothes, everything thought I was a right weirdo.

Someone told me today I cold have got a grant coz i'm on disibility benefits. too late now!

I've not been this overdrawn since I was a student 13 years ago!!! Still, the next three months we can live on lentils and stuff.

Yea they do sound great. Now all I have to do is find a place that sell my size. It may be fun to wear red wellies into colege. Oh my sister (who is older then me) would love to have Hello Kitty ones. I may buy her a pair to annoy her. Size 1 would do. So she can't wear them.

My Dad did that once. We were going to an assemberly and we couldn't aford to buy any new dresses so my Dad made us some out of curtains. They were pretty cool.

That sucks. Surly you'll be getting some help with payments and sch what (i sound posh).

red wellies to me say strong adventurous type of girl, one who will take no nonsense :) Go for it!

If the Hello Kitty ones are still there at the end of September, when it is my birthday amd I get some birthday money, I may buy them.

Your Dad sounds clever (and cool too to do that for his daughters - or does that sound sexist?)

Yep. Don't know if I can claim retrospectively or not. Once I have time I'll get in touch with the benefits advice charity in Barton.

Hope you like my new user pic - my friends Poppy and Amy who sit on my bed. you are never to old for a soft toy friend!
