Watching debate live, pinching myself - doesn't seem that that long ago I was marching against Clause 28... Feel strangely optimistic, not only will we get equal marriage for all but maybe as a by product the conversative party will implode and its traditional homecounties support desert it. It can't get better than that

Hopefully each step forward makes the next one easier.
I think the two issues are separate, as gay marriage will not cost anything.
