A saga of epic boredom

So a little less than 3 years ago I bought a car. As recorded in this journal, I recently paid it off. When I got the title it had the wrong color on it; it said it was white when it has always been blue. So I went to the credit union where they passed the buck. Luckily the car dealership took up the reins to fix the problem. The only snag was

I despise people who give you the song and dance about "it's always been done that way, so we can't do it any other way", or who stick to their "rules" despite being dead wrong. I spent last week wrangling with a collections agency who had somehow got it into their head that I owed them $250 plus for a Cingular Wireless account, despite the fact that the first name, address, and social security number on the account all did not match my own. Idiots.
