I agree. Thankfully I have had better experiences with baby-fied friends and have found that not all of them revolve all things around their children. But it does happen and I know the pain you're talking about.

And my icon for this comment has nothing to do with it, however I rarely (if ever) get to use my Susanna Hoffs icon and more people need to see her in all of her icon glory.

My only baby is 19 so I will try to refrain from complaining about her not getting a job or going to college.

I promise that when I have a baby we can and will still have those conversations, because if we didn't I'd probably end up hospitalized or something from going nuts.
