I've only been to conventions twice and both times it was Animefest. So this was something new. It was smaller than I was expecting, and, wow, lots o' Storm Troopers. Or at least it felt like lots. Our table was just across from their table, so that might have had something to do with it. Some nice 300 eye candy, too. ;)

Yesterday after work I spent TWO hours at Elliot's Hardware--most of that on the plumbing fittings aisle--looking for more parts for my ray gun. So the DFWCG lecture was this past Saturday. DC was out of town so I was handling refreshments and money paid by attendees (which, as far as Madame Treasurer knows, amounted to nada).
