A catch-up post

So. Lotsa stuff happening in the last week, most of it bad.

The absolute worst was losing Safia.

The second worst was finding out I owe the IRS almost $900. And that's with my student loan interest deduction. I need to have a sit down with accounting to figure out what the deal is, because my W-4 already says what the tax-prep guy told me to ( Read more... )

Aw crap! Well, I will officially count myself lucky and quit whining about my own IRS bad luck. You win.

Im so sorry about Safia. I'm glad you're up to adopting a new one, though. If this kitty doesn't work out, and you're still looking, give me a holler and I'll be happy to talk to you about some of the cats at the shelter I work for. Of course, I'm based that the cats at our shelter are the BEST, hehe, but it's important that you get the right cat, so I will be very excited to hear that this one works out for you and you don't have to search any longer.

*hugs*

Hey, first come, first served.

It's pleated onto a 45" waistband (yay! it doesn't fit me anymore!), has a flat skirt hook closer, and is 3" to 6" above the floor (I can't remember exactly). I generally cut my skirts at 39" floor-to-waist to give a rough idea of the length.

The hoops can be taken out to throw the skirt in the washer. It isn't perfectly round though--more elliptical. I'm not sure why. You're more than welcome to take it off my hands. :)

I'm planning on being there Saturday. My friend J-san may be out there, too. He has a new camera he needs to practice with. ;)

Hey there Chickie!

I'm sorry to hear you've had such a rough week. If I can do anything lemme know. I can help move heavy objects! =) Because I'm on call this weekend I may not be going to faire so if you're available to hang out that'd be cool. How about lunch at the chinese place? OH, and I need to return your swords and stuff to you!

If the printer is still available I could really use one. The one I have is on it's last legs and in need of severe replacement.

I will be taking you up on the "help move heavy objects" offer sometime in the future. Possibly this Saturday. I want to move my credenza, but because of some "issues" it's having with one of it's feet I can't slide it around--it needs to be picked up off the floor. I also want to move some shelves around and help with that would be most appreciated ( ... )

I shall try to make myself available to help move stuffs when you need me! Just let me know. :)

When you get back home Saturday just call me and lemme know. Robin of Sherwood sounds great! Maybe we could order chinese take out too. LOL Hint Hint! LOL

YAY printer! I really need a better one. Mine sucks. It will randomly begin printing garbage on the top line only of each page and spitting them out if i print more than one page at a time.

You're most welcome for the call. Don't worry, I didnt take it as being blown off at all. We all need our time and space to deal with things that are happening to us and it sounds like you were having a doozy of a week. *hugs* I totally understand!

See you soon! =)
