Well, if nobody was posting I’d close it down. Unfortunately, most of the posters these days are just using the comic board, and there are many members who don’t like - or read - the comics, so I would like to see the other boards get more use.
Also, this time of the year the boards always get quieter, though I’m not sure why. You’d be very welcome if you wanted to join us…
I'm not part of any Buffy forums, but i was having a look around and found quiet alot of interesting stuff, but quiet alot of posts that were quiet old.
I was just wondering if it was a very active forum, where if i actually posted i would get feedback, and replies and stuff like that. Because i don't really see me joining if i can't ask questions and get answers.
But i am a member of a BtVS and Ats group on FB, and i might be able to pursuade a few of the BA fans to join as well.
We’re quite happy to open up old threads. My mods and I all check the boards every day, and I know that a lot of the members do, too. People respond if there is something that interests them, so we love it when people ask questions and make interesting posts.
It is a small board but it is also very friendly. It’s deceiving, because there are a lot of lurkers and every so often they can be tempted out of hiding to play as well. Considering it’s only devoted to one pairing - some of our members are not actually B/A-ers but enjoy the atmosphere there - its always going to be smaller than a general BtVS board. Considering the forum will be nine years old in August, I don’t think we’re doing too badly.
Jooooin. Most of us there get lazy from time to time, but really we're just waiting for someone else to get talking so we can all join in. I know there are still plenty of people who at least check for new posts every day.
New blood always does us good. We'd be happy to see you.
I've been thinking about joining Blood Roses for a while because I have a lot of time and I haven't been on a community like this since the Bones forum The ABY closed and I miss it. I don't read the comics, but if you join, I'll join, knowing that there are still people who want to be active in other areas. :)
