Let them know..

If you don't like the "fabulous" comment upgrades go and let them know HERE

Hitting them with feedback is the only way they'll know how much it will effect fandom and the way we leave comments. :(

Done!! Why are they messing with it - it's such a non-starter.

There seems to be a trend. I get having to upgrade to stay on top of trends. But to make things worse.... *head scratch*

Argh! Thanks for the linky - I went over and put my two cents in. You'd think the improvements they need to be making are to ensure their website stays up. God knows the DDoS attacks have been annoying, especially in the last few months but they just blow them off like their nothing. Makes no sense at all to me.

Make no sense!!! I notice they made an official announcement today. it seems all the complaining didn't make a difference. (though I haven't checked the finer details yet).

For me everthing looks still the same (only the window seems a bit bigger - maybe?) so I don't yet have an oppinion. What are the proposed changes?

It's for customize comment pages only, like on communities, kink memes etc. Number one there is no subject bar, no preview for comments, the whole page is WAY big and bright, no more drop down menus for userpics. No more parent/thread links. The screen launches you up back to the top every time you comment, it loads very slowly for many users. Text is so huge that you have a horizontal bar down at the bottom

Thanks for that, that's really helpful! I've just seen it on somebody elses journal (but still not here), it really does look different. The subject bar is indeed a los, I don't use it loads but sometimes it's a good way to signpost what a post is about. It's the biggest downside of IT, those frequent 'updates' - I am in the process of getting to know windows 7 and am still clinging to my Microsoft Office 2003 version of Word. I'm dreading the day I have to update my editing software...... *sigh*

Thanks for the reply here hun. I've only been going on what everyone else has been saying and not actually checking out the details.

*hugs*
