Guess who's still alive? *points to self* I'm surprised about it myself since 2020 (and the end of 2019, too) wasn't exactly kind with me, or anyone else in the entire world tbh

Hi :) It's so nice to hear from you! I miss the days when we could chat here on LJ, it's sad that many moved on or RL took their free time away.
I'm happy to hear you and your family are staying safe and hanging in there. It's hard and all these months of semi-lockdown are definitely starting to wear on all of us. It's good that you and your husband retired so you don't have to worry about going to work anymore, and I'm glad you have your daughter and your pets to keep you company :)
My sister luckily owns her house so it's her husband that left it and went to live with his family. She lives two doors down from me so we see each other all the time. We're spending tonight together actually so that's good. She has three dogs and you're right that they truly makes ones life easier and better.
Happy New Year to you and your family, my dear, I wish you all the best!
That's the only way to describe that awful year! I read something that made me laugh but it's so true: "2021, you have the easiest job in the world. You don't need to be the best year ever, you just need to be better than 2020! Easy peasy ;)" LOL
Thank you, hon. It was hellish and I think I'm still wobbling from all the blows but, yeah, hanging in there. Doing my best at least.
I love my poinsettia ♥
Here's to a wonderful new year for the both of us!
