Just watched the season finale of The Vampire Diaries and let's just say that if I were either Joss Whedon or David Greenwalt I'd sue the pants off Julie Plec and her crew. Seriously, [Spoiler (click to open)] if you're familiar with the final scene of Angel season 3, you won't need to watch the end of this episode of TVD. Unbelievable. In other news, LJ is back! *clings ( Read more... )

I'm back! Okay, you already knew that from FB. Trying to play catch up with LJ and all the TV I missed while I was gone. Surprisingly even if I was in the US and could have watched the series from the TV, didn't manage to catch any of the shows. I guess I had better things to do than to sit in front of the TV :)

Haven't watched the TVD finale yet so I carefully closed my eyes so that I didn't see anything I wasn't supposed to. However, after what you said in the "public part" of your post, I think the finale just went to the top of my watching list. :) Will come back and give comments if there are any after I've watched it

*jumps you and clings to you* Never letting you go again! Never! What? Can't hear you... what? Oh, was I suffocating you? *g*

You weren't in the US to watch TV, hon, you were working! Well, for the first few days, at least ;) Then it was a holiday and TV really didn't have a place in it.

Will love to hear your thoughts on the TVD finale!

*takes deep breaths after all the squishing*

You do remember that I head for Crete on Sunday? Will again be gone for a week. Sorry!

When I started watching the ep, I thought there would be some rip off from Buffy's 3rd season finale with the graduation theme but then it ended up being Angel's 3rd season after all. Not very original, I have to say. Makes me wonder who they will get to find him. Who has pissed him off royally and is the last person you'd think would go look for him? IMO this whole season of TVD has been pretty weak so not really surprised the finale was weak too.

*hugs*

*bows head* Didn't remember Crete was so close... *sadly steps away from you* Ok, then... go...

The only good thing of the finale was Alaric - and the Dalaric *g*! Couldn't we keep him instead of Jeremy? And I've often felt that the writers in TVD took too many liberties with the canon in Buffy and Angel. I mean, just think about the premise of the show: two vampires, one good and the other bad, in love with a human girl... feels like a rip off already, and when you couple to it the fact that Stephen can "lose himself" (his soul?) and become this totally evil vampire, well... see what I mean? That last scene of the episode had me eye rolling so hard!!

*hugs back*
