DCMB: The Mechanics of Love (art masterpost)
Some art inspired by The Mechanics of Love fic draft, it was first written as a Mini Bang for deancasbigbang 2012.
This post is probably NSFW (there's shirtless Cas and a sorta-kiss).
The story was inspired by Zettai Kareshi (Absolute Boyfriend), a light shoujo manga by Watase Yuu. The manga was also later made into live action (Japanese, Taiwanese, and Korean).
As a kid, I enjoyed Watase-sensei's bishies works, but so far the J-dorama is my favorite version of ZK ^_^ And yeah I was initially excited for this.
Fic summary:
Loosely based on the manga Absolute Boyfriend. Dean is less than amused when, for his birthday, Gabriel signs him up for a month-long trial with Castiel, a humanoid robot prototype developed by Heaven Technologies to be the perfect boyfriend. At first, Dean is not thrilled at the new addition to his household, but as he spends more time with the robot, Dean finds himself slowly falling in love.
Personal notes: Well this was... a lonely experience ^^; I don't even know the story of this fic. There's an unfinished fic draft, and the author said it was being majorly rewritten. However, the mods and I fell out of touch with her; our mails went unanswered and there's been no updates. So I went with the fic draft to make the art draft deadline :p It's an adventure.
Tried to give this what I could, though, as I LOVE the ZK concept ♥ The pics below might not even fit the final fic, sorry... ^_^;

Kinda ran out of scenes to draw, so I spent the time making up random concepts. They might be different from the fic, but it was fun
Balthazar, Heaven's Director of Customer Relations. Chuck, Heaven's Chief Engineer, creator of Castiel.
Pamela, Dean's colleague in Sandover. Gabriel, also Dean's colleague. Lisa, Dean's old flame.
Heaven is the tech company where Castiel came from. To save time, I made simple window patterns (listed below). I think Chuck might work in another building for testing and stuff. Hades, the rival company of Heaven.
I went a bit crazy ^^;
This is maybe Castiel's vision interface.
Used a photo for the building background. There's also a GTA-type radar, I was too lazy to draw Dean lol
